UPDATED: SnapNames.com Is Back Up

Earlier today we reported (as other reported to us) that SnapNames.com was down.

Now the site is back up

Around 6pm we got this message from a representative of the company:

“”There was a small deployment earlier today that effected a few users and could have caused the issue in a very short time frame. There should not be any further issues and the site is not down.””

    I saw the same issue at SnapNames a couple of weeks ago when I went to post a domain name for sale. That issue actually stopped me from posting there.

    I am in an auction ever other year at snap – such a convoluted site promoting garbage for the most part
    I never use godaddy – they suck
    never use sedo
    only use NameJet – anybody that has anything worth selling to me – well 95% it is going to be at NJ.

    And if I miss something – well I guess I am paying the winner bidder at one of those
