Radix Withdraws New gTLD Application For .Movie

Radix which had applied for 31 new gTLD’s has withdrawn its application for the new gTLD .Movie.

Radix application for .Movie had a prioritization number of 592.

There are 7 other applicants for the .movie new gTLD including Google, Amazon, Famous Four, Straat Investments which is associated with the .Co registry,  Donuts and Dish Network.

Radix announced a month ago that it was joining forces with two other applicants for .Online, Tucows and NameCheap both of which have since withdrawn their applications for .Online with ICANN.

Just a few days ago Radix issued a press release stating that four of the 31 applications of Radix had passed Initial Evaluation, however it did not chat about any pending withdrawals.

Radix is part of the Directi Group

To date 60 new gTLD applications have been withdrawn with ICANN.
