Not true. Of the two, the escrow service offering the lowest fee* changes depending on transaction amount:

    Escrow: $5,456

*Based on stated ‘escrow service fee’ and ‘minimum charges’. Exclusive of additional fees related to buyer-selected ‘payment method’; notably:

    ~~ Wire transfer fee ~~
    Afternic: $15 (US) or $25 (non-US)
    Escrow: $25 (non-US)

    ~~ PayPal fee ~~
    Afternic: +4%

Ok more than 3x for amounts $25k or more. In the $25K example $214.50 verses $750 with Afternic. Not hard to decide which one to use.
