.PW LandRush Extended Untill March 22nd

March 14, 2013 by Michael Berkens

The Registry for .PW, the Professional Web, today announced that the Land Rush Period will be extended for 4 days, until March 22, 2013.

Land Rush was originally scheduled to end on 18th March and has been extended further based on registrars’ demand.

The .PW Landrush is a unique opportunity where several premium domains including savings.pw, properties.pw, credits.pw, designers.pw and many more including 2-3 character names are available at non-premium rates.

Last week, the Registry announced its partnership with industry giants like Network Solutions and Register.com, both Web.com brands, which became the 100th and 101st ICANN accredited registrar to support .PW registrations.

There are some really great names that the registry has released from the reserve list, specifically for Landrush.

“This is a great opportunity for start-ups, business owners and professionals to buy the name they always wanted, at a very reasonable price.”

The .PW registry also put together a list of their “top picks available during the Land Rush period.

Earlier today The Registry also recently announced the sale of the domain names P.pw and W.pw for $8,000 each, in a private transaction to a hosting company.

PW will enter the General Availability phase from March 25, 2013 with 110 registrars including eNom, Network Solutions, Register.com, InterNetX, Key-Systems, Name.com, ResellerClub, Hostinger.com and Domain Monster.

“.pw – the Professional Web, is a TLD that has been opened globally to create a dedicated namespace for professionals and businesses to set up an online presence, with a first choice domain name at an affordable price point.”

    “.PW, the Professional Web”

LOL. It could really take off and be the next .WS.

Good luck branding an acronym that does not actually mean anything.

    Hello MHB

    The .PW land rush? LOL

More like the .PW rush for swampland. You can’t make this stuff up.

Hey lets grab more of those 40 – 60 no reserve landrush fees before we make everyone go to auction for the premium domains. What is going to happen once their advertising dollars wear out after the landrush is over. Will .PW grow any legs?

I think a landrush should have to end with the time frame initially given to people.
