Lish.com Bought For $45k on Sedo in June By Payvment Launches & Gets Covered By TechCrunch.com

The domain name Lish.com sold on Sedo.com in June for $45,000.

Today according to a press release, the buyer of the domain is  Payvment, which calls itself “the number one Facebook ecommerce platform”, launched a site on the domain.

Payvment has raised $7.75 Million in funding.

Lish.com also got some love from TechCrunch.com which ran a story on it today.

Back to the press release:

    Not sure I’m a fan of the domain name Payvment. I’d rather have a letter in front of Payment (i.e. epayment, ipayment, apayment, zpayment)

    Clearly you’re not too hot on contextual thinking – like most domainers

    Payvment has nothing to do with ‘payments’

    It’s a word play on ‘Pavement’

    Lish makes me think of licorice, and payvment if not for payments is really a stupid name

    But they open themselves to people who don’t know how to spell their domain. they were wise to purchase payvEment.com as well.

    another example is livefyre.com. But only this year they realized they needed lyvefyre.com as well.
