After Losing A UDRP For oogle.com, Google Wins The Battle For coogle.com

July 27, 2012 by Michael Berkens

A couple of days ago Google lost a UDRP on the domain name oogle.com

In a one person UDRP panel decision, handed down today,  Google was awarded the domain name Coogle.com

Unlike the oogle.com case, the domain holder of Coogle.com didn’t file a response.

The domain went to a parking page that “monetized links under headings such as “Finance” and “Shopping and Shopping”

The domain parked page also had a link on the page saying “coogle.com may be for sale by its owner!”

“The for sales link lead to a page, at Sedo.com, where Internet users may make offers to buy the coogle.com domain name.”

“Panels have found that general offers to sell a domain name evidence bad faith”

I wonder after the oogle.com UDRP decision if the owner of Coogle.com regrets not filing a response

If SEDO is using a Google feed then the owner should have fought it and said it was actually Google running the ads themselves.
