   Go Figure……..Plan-net dot com sells for about US$23,000 and Watch-Tv dot com sells for
   $1200
   Anyway, it shows that hyphens have value.

   Michael, does Sedo say what the 43.8% is a percentage of? As in is it 43.8% of the total sales of $1.9MM ($832,200) or 43.8% of 719 domains sold (~315 domains). Those 315 domains could be $1000/each totally $315,000 with the other $1.6MM in “make offer”. I know Sedo pushes “buy now” but I think the stats they release each week could be misleading without the proper context. Nitpicking I know, but it’s always bothered me not knowing. Thanks.

   I also meant to add that I realize you can’t have .8% of a domain, but with the numbers game anything goes I guess. 🙂

   Something tells me that Bingo.com did not really sell for $940

   is that a typo or another buyer who got taken on some weird IDN domain ?

   seems watch-tv.com (60.5K exact match) is a steal, I am not sure plan-net.com (2.9K exact match) is worth 23K, somebody really likes outer space.

   I see legnd.com sold for 3K, this is good news. I assume this is symbolic of “legend” – I was just commenting at Elliot’s blog about phonetic symbols of dictionary words and their brand value. I reg’d cloudsrvrs.com last night and was trying to get some opinions on it. What do you guys think? Assigning brand value seems to be far more difficult as compared to valuing exact match dictionary words and phrases but I think sales like this go to show that there is no question that brand opportunity plays an important part in valuation.

   Your cloud domain is probably only good for typo value. Doubt Cloud Srvers without the ‘e’ is a not a good branding choice, especially since CloudServers dot com only sold at $32k – not that big of a sale in relation to other major typos that hold far better value.

   Many good www cloud domains are readily available. Your best bet is to begin searching for the top cloud keywords along with www in front of them.

    thanks for the feedback, I also bought cloudwhoa.com and whoacloud.com too, I liked them.

    I listed cloudsrvrs.com for $550, going to work on drumming up some interest at WHT and within the hosting industry. I think there is an end user for it.
