DomainMonster.com 25,000 Pre-orders For .XXX General Availability Already

October 18, 2011 by Michael Berkens

DomainMonster an ICANN accredited registrar in a press release today say it has already taken 25,000 pre-orders for .XXX domain names when they become available for registration to the public.

Since DomainMonster is just one of over 70 domain name registrars that are selling .XXX domains, its a pretty impressive number especially considering the rollout of the .XXX registry is still in Sunrise and still has a few weeks away from opening up the Land Rush period.

I know a lot of people typically wait until the deadline gets much closer before putting in there backorders and reservations.

GA does not open until December.

Here is the press release.

    25,000 suckers born every minute
when sex.xxx can’t even fetch xxx,xxx @ auction it says alot about the extension as a whole. I mean sex.xxx has to be in the top 10 of all xxx names and it didn’t even sell at Ricks new GAME CHANGING AUCTION. I can see it now, Rick will be blaming the sellers who paid for placement for failing to do the appropriate marketing. Did someone say PIGEON
