Domainsville.com Launches Today “As The City For Everything Domains”

July 18, 2011 by Michael Berkens

A new domain blog and news aggregator launched today called Domainsville.com.

The site enters into the same space dominated by Domaining.com and to a much lesser extent Namebee.com.

I had an email interview with Abdu Tarabichi one of the co-founders and CEO of Domainsville, Inc. and asked him to tell me the difference between Domainsville.com and other domain feed aggregators like Domaining.com and I got the following answer:

“When compared to other sites, we aggregate 74% more feeds.”

As we discover a blog worth aggregating, we will add it the moment it passes our quality check.”

“If a blogger continuously posts irrelevant information, we will have to remove that feed.”

“Quality is KING in Domainsville.”

“We want the world to know that we operate in a professional industry”.

“The decision on what feeds will be part of Domainsville depends on the quality of those blogs rather than a paid fee.”

“I want you to read what Domain companies are publishing.  Not just individual bloggers.  It is important for anyone’s success.”

In addition to having a running stream of domain publications and news, Domainsville.com lists all upcoming domain industry events.

“Right now on our feed we have information on 28 upcoming events.”

“Our events widget will publish more than just conferences.  We have included Live Auctions, Webinars, and Meet-ups.”

“Wouldn’t it be nice to see all those in a list, with the number of days remaining for each?   Wouldn’t it be nice to view upcoming Online Webinars?

On Domainsville.com you will see all of it.

Also Domainsville.com is planning on providing all current promo codes from major domain registrars and checking to make sure they are active and working.

“How many times have you visited a promo codes site when a great portion of the codes didn’t work?  At Domainsville, we want to DRIVE a successful portal.  We’ll check the codes frequently so you don’t waste your time with those that don’t work.”

Mr. Tarabichi says he has been investing in domain names since 2001 and is the owner and a domain broker at Domains Guru, Inc..  You can read his biography here.

According to the site, Domainsville.com is:

“The City for Everything Domains – is a portal that provides virtually everything you’ll ever need to stay informed and current on the Domain Name Industry.”

“Enjoy reading Blog and News articles, arrange ahead of time for your next domain conference or event, and locate promotional discount codes to save on your domain orders! Themed to reflect what you’d find in an actual city, Domainsville.com will provide important notices and advisory to the community. ”

“Attractives – including contests – will entertain residents of the city.”

“We’re also hosting reviews, recommendations of service providers, as well as interviews with major players. Feedback from our research polls will help make Domainsville a better city for everyone!

“Domainsville, Inc. is a company that provides information and resources on Domains and the Domain Industry. The company was incorporated in the State of North Carolina in May of 2011.”

So we wish them much success along with continued success for Domaining.com and NameBee.com

Hopefully additional exposure to the industry will mean even more traffic coming to all domain publications

    This looks pretty sweet.

I used to love domaining… now it is used to promote Francois’ attempt to get into the domain auction business. I have to scroll through all his self promotion posts before I get to the reason I’m there (blogger’s posts). I’m tired of seeing that crappy domain box with crappy domains in the middle of the site and happy that something new has come along and getting back to basics.

    “Japanville

You ever hear of a small $10 Billion startup called Zynga?”

    Yeah, Zynga is Facebook’s Bitch …apparently 😉

“Über-VC and Zynga investor Fred Wilson has a saying: “be your own bitch,” meaning don’t be overly dependent on one platform; e.g. don’t be a Google bitch by relying on SEO for all your traffic. But this filing seems to indicate conclusively, however, that Zynga is Facebook’s bitch.”
