Wow

Another .TV was in the news today is Bee.TV which just raised another $1.5 million in funding after receiving $8 Million in funding two years ago.

    @Jared
    Has nothing to do with the stated topic of .TV domains furthermore, you should not have purchased soo many domains if you could not financially handled the delay time from purchase to sale.

    You may have to suck it up and chalk this up to a life lesson.

    Just my opinion.
    Cheers

    .Tv is an extension being used by a lot of startups getting VC money

    Ideas attract VC money, not domain extensions.

    yes, ideas are VERY important, but, if your idea is in the media market, a . TV domain may help (of course, it’s better if you own both . TV and . com of a name)

    I just looked at both sites and found that I had no interest in either. So in this case, as in many cases, ideas aren’t important, (since there are so many of them), but money is. (Which is much more finite as to who gets it, in comparison.)

    Blah to both sites. They’re curiosities that will likely die off. And 1.5 million in funding after 2 years to Bee.TV? How many employees and how much office space, equipment, etc can you get with that? Not much. They’d be better off putting that money into a couple of McDonald’s franchises.
