Wow: Defiance.com Sells For $90K On Sedo

April 11, 2011 by Michael Berkens

Here is a nice sale, the domain name Defiance.com just sold on Sedo.com today for $90,000.

The domain is still parked at Sedo but now has as the registrar,  CSC CORPORATE DOMAINS, INC. which likes MarkMonitor usually appeals to large companies.

There is a movie by the same name whose official site is defiancemovie.com

There is a town of about 17,000 people in Ohio named Defiance as well.

There is also a band by that name.

There is also a small college named Defiance.

There is a also a defiancemachine.com

Quite a nice sale IMHO

Congrats to the Seller and Buyer

csc means a corporate buyer. someone from marketing was probably instructed to acquire the domain. and that’s what she did (probably using an agent). price was probably not as important as getting the domain.

probably will be part of some ad campaign we’ll never hear about.

seller must be happy with this one.
