HealthCarePayments.com Sells For $35K on Sedo.com

April 6, 2011 by Michael Berkens

The domain name healthcarepayments.com just sold on Sedo.com for $35,000

The domain is currently parked and looks like it has little to no traffic.

A really nice price for the seller IMHO.

Congrats

When I got HealthCareChange.com I thought it´s going to be a big issue. Not that much. Quite surprised now to see such a sale.

Sounds like a domain Humana would drop that kind of money on! They did pay $16.5K on MyWell-Being.com

This is one of the reasons that I no longer use Estibot, I’m sure most domainers would not have
registered a name with zero searches!

If a 4-Letter .COM (LLLL) is the same as your NASDAQ Symbol you may not care about “searches”

    It’s not just Estibot.
It’s the entire failed domainer-notion that speculative domain buying is reliant on Google search metrics. Some of the best domains aren’t ones that represent an exact search term.

There are just way too many idiots out there in the world who aren’t going to comprehend Estibot for what it is and use it as a conduit to light money on fire.

If I owned the domain, would I have an asking price of mid $ xx,xxx. ???
    NO.
(I realize it was an auction.)

However, I’ve made this point a number of times –
How much would the major domainers* ask for it if they owned it???

(* Schilling, Berkins, Schwartz, Ham, Day, etc.)

@Meyer ahahah. they would ask exactly in the same range.
