Clothing.Net Hits $40K Reserve, Marathon.net Sells For $15K & Credit.asia Sells For $7,500

November 22, 2010 by Michael Berkens

A couple a interesting auctions concluded today and another couple just started on Sedo.

Marathon.net sold for $15K and a there was a rare .asia sale with Credit.Asia Selling for $7,500.

The auction for the domain name Clothing.Net just started and has already hit the reserve price of $40K with over 6 days to go.

The auction for the domain, TVS.org just also started and has already met reserve at $20K with also over 6 days to go

Seems like a LOT of money for a LLL.org, especially with the list only showing 71 visitors in the last 31 days

On the other hand the domain 3dHq.com sold for a pretty reasonable $3,750

I’ve spent endless nights wondering just how Sedo does it. So, far no rhyme or reason to it all. 3dHQ.com will appear to have a better flame than some that sold for multiple of $3,750.

I visited some of the LLL selling for over $20,000 to see if they had thriving businesses, I didn’t see one. Meanwhile, my killer domains ain’t fetching nearly as much (so far).

    TVs.org is a “LLL.org” as much as Sex.com is a “LLL.com”.

    very low price for credit.asia

now that China has put limits to register a .cn the .asia could grow

    Marathon.net sold 15,000 Euro not $15K
That means, sold it over $20K ($20,000)

Will marathon.net close is the question, one bid, one thread started at dnf to help a friend, like I said will it close?

If it was a reseller they over paid $17k, if end user they need a new buyer rep if they targeted a ,net, doesn’t make sense.

    What does that make Rob Grant’s Marathons.com worth – serious I don’t carry non.coms.
They are not even worth the cost of registration in my book because they rely on SEO games (not billboards or other tradional media) to generate revenue
