Chery.com Sells For $200K On Sedo

The domain name Chery.com sold for $200k on Sedo with the new owner taking possession according to the whois

Yes the domain is Chery.com not Cherry.com

Of course I have no idea of what the Buyers plan for the domain is however Chery is one of the largest car manufacturers in China.

The buyer does not seem to be the car company,  as its registered to an individual with an address in California.

Let’s hope this purchase doesn’t become the headline for another post under the “legal” category in the future.
