    Mike,

My picks for highest sale are Thin.tv and Lend.tv
    What are your picks?

    Thanks, Jim

many .tv are not related with the TV

I agree with you on thin.tv and would round out my top five with:

    workshop.tv
    norwegian.tv
    feel.tv
    and perhaps buff.tv

My two cents – keeping in mind I am really new to this 😮
    Mike

    @Premium,

In 2000, I only bought .tv names related as ProFootball.tv, Actor.tv, HeadlineNews.tv, etc. I still mostly do as well but have changed somewhat with the growth of online video.

However, Stocks.tv sold for $22,500, Jobs.tv sold for $20,500, Finance.tv for $9,800, Books.tv sold for $6,600 and those are not related to tv so if you have strong names they will sell .tv.

    Thanks, Jim

I’m a huge .tv fan. But these names are pretty meager and most probably wouldn’t even get bids if they dropped.

nearly all TV networks don’t use the .tv TLD

These are great names! I like Data-Recovery.tv and Domain-Registration.tv, both hand-registered this month . . . I wouldn’t trade them for any on the above list . . . but that’s my taste.

Well, I didn’t see 3D.tv in the list, and if it was there, I’d say thats probably the best dot TV out there.

Though if I had to choose from the list, I’d say WorkShop.TV is pretty catchy. The rest just don’t pertain to have a true meaning of dot tv.

@ Premium, i see lots of .tv ads on TV everyday, big companies are using them for branding,it doesn’t need to be tv related to use tv, i see this everyday over here.
I am a big .tv fan, but i agree DC Mike, most of these are not that good imo.Although there are a few that are not too bad at all.
For those that think .tv should only relate to tv you are missing a huge part of it, they use the .tv to brand and to advertise with, not only my opinion but fact in the number of adverts i see every day using .tv.

I am happy to provide evidence of this by emailing a huge list if anyone is so interested let me know.
It may be different in USA, but in Europe and in particular the UK, .tv has been adopted by many many big companies.

I think i may go for one of these in the auctionand want wish anyone bidding the best of luck.

I have new3d.tv if you are interested for very little money
    🙂

@ mikey, no thanks. I have a dot com fetish so unless you can magically convert that dot tv to a dot com….wait, even then I wouldn’t be interested…sorry.

@ tv – you know, from a business point of view, I can understand why tv advertisements would use it. It would surely show how many viewers are actually clicking through and whether or not worth for them to continue their very expensive tv campaigns.

    @Attila

No worries. I am hoping to simply get back my registration fee and it is up for bids on ebay starting at a buck.

I am new at this and hand registered it thinkin gthe dot tvs were incredibly hot.

    Why is everyone unloading them?

I believe all or most of domains up at the Latonas .Tv auction are owned by one person, like many of his “daily” auctions

I would be shocked if in the new .tv world the following names didnt each sell for at least low xxx, some a lot more.

    BikeShop.tv
    BodyArt.tv
    Cathy.tv
    Coeds.tv
    Cutie.tv
    Dangerous.tv
    Doll.tv
    Electricians.tv
    Ficken.tv
    Geisha.tv
    GiftShop.tv
    Jean.tv
    Jocks.tv
    Kate.tv
    Kirk.tv
    LockerRoom.tv
    Lori.tv
    MostWanted.tv
    Opium.tv
    Outstanding.tv
    Puff.tv
    Roadsters.tv
    Rockets.tv
    Scouting.tv
    Shelters.tv
    Steamy.tv
    Survive.tv
    Tapas.tv
    Warriors.tv
    Workshop.tv

These ought to sell for more too but for some reason the kind of fever that LLL and NNN causes in every other decent TLD just hasnt struck .tv yet. It will, but maybe not yet.

    776.tv
    BJN.tv
    BKP.tv
    TVY.tv
