Snapnames.com Monthly Showcase Auction for January just opened up for bidding a couple of hours ago and there are plenty of bids on lots of domain names.

The January auction is showcasing “1-4 Character & 1 word ccTLDs”

Already 33 domains have bids meeting reserve.

As you might expect 3 letter .com’s are leading the way with several hitting in the four figures already.

COA.com is leading the pack with a high bid of $8,816

KAT.com already is at $5,750

GLU.com is at $2,810

FXS.com is at $2,610.

There are quite a few  3 letter and 3 number .net’s with bids as well.

There are even higher bids on some domains which have not hit reserve like DSS.com which has a high bid of $100,000 but has not hit its reserve, which has a range of $100,000-$250,000.

CFJ.com and JFK.com each have $10,000 bids,  but neither has hit its reserve yet,  stated in the $10K-$25K range.

This certainly looks like its going to be a hot one.

Especially impressive since the auction does not close until a week from today on January 19th at 3:15pm.

Good luck to all Sellers and bidders

COA.com was listed on Sedo the other day and then the auction was pulled after meeting reserve at $9,999. Now I know where it went.

Register.com owns COA.com from my understanding.

Strange that war.net is in the auction. I thought it finished at Sedo auction just yesterday. Didn’t see how high it went though.
