October 15, 2009 by Michael Berkens

Well the lists are out.

RickLatona.com announced the list of domains that will be auctioned at the TRAFFIC show a couple of days ago.

Moniker.com announced their live auction list yesterday.

So the question is, having reviewed both lists, which one do you think will generate the higher total sales in their respective Live domain auction

Rick’s list has better names and he does a great job of getting the word out beyond the domaining community.

I’ve heard a lot of good things about Rick, his team does a bang up job. Just look at the domain name lists, it’s a no brainer who’s going to rake in the most.

Are we including the “post auction” totals. Moniker always loads up with more domains on the silent auction, while Rick tends to just put his “leftovers” to silent. Thus moniker’s quantity usually produces more sales .

I am going with Latona on the strength of Rio.com and CY.com priced somewhat reasonably.

RL seemed to have alot more badly ovepriced domain to me. Maybe the difference will just come down to getting one high sale though.
