Domain Deals

April 23, 2008 by Michael Berkens

Here are 3 domains that are being offered with financing by the owner.

We generally don’t do this but we know the owner personally.

As far as I know this is exclusive to our site.

SaintKittsAndNevis.com   $18,000   $300/month for 60 months
TreatmentProgram.com  $3600      $100/month for 36 months
TelevisionRepair.com      $6000      $100/month for 60 months

If you have interest, in one or all of the three, just post below to claim it.

The owner will place the domain at moniker.com in escrow.

Great News – giving an opportunity to a person to acquire internet real estate.

    Great post

It is interesting. How it works?
    Step by step.

Just to clarify we are NOT the seller, but we know him quite well.

The domain is registered at moniker. You and the seller enter into an escrow agreement with moniker.

Under the agreement moniker holds the name in its escrow account.

You get to use the name during the agreement.

You make your monthly payments, moniker pays the seller monthly.

Upon your last payment moniker transfers the domain into your moniker account.

If you stop making the payments and you default in your obligations under the escrow agreement, then moniker will transfer the domain back into the sellers account.

    There is no interest charged.

Ok, thank you, it’s more clear now.
Didn’t know that it is possible such kind of escrow agreement at Moniker.
I’m interested in Caribbean related domains but SaintKittsAndNevis is too long.

This is a nice financing approach.

Could be an excellent new service if Moniker (and others) offer it to the general marketplace…

Moniker has this feature set up for quite a long time now and the fees they charge are very reasonable.

    Newbie:
So that means you wouldn’t want BritishVirginIslands.com?

This isn’t 1999 when people ranked the value of names by the “shorter is worth more” methodology.

Today, what IS important (especially with Geodomains) is what kind of direct relevancy and traffic the name receives regardless of its length.

In other words, it is far better to own NorthCarolinaRealEstate.com than Lantana.com.

David, I absolutely agree with you and have the same opinion.
I just mean that StKittsAndNevis is shorter than
SaintKittsAndNevis and BVI is shorter than BritishVirginIslands.
And sometimes it’s more reasonable to use short url.
For example, to prove my words your sign here ccin.com instead CastelloCitiesInternetNetwork.com

    Wish I could own BritishVirginIslands.com.
And Geo+RealEstate is my favorite domains.

Tell you more, your business model is an example how it is necessary to develop domain property. And I am learning 🙂

    For the record

    I also

    “Wish I could own BritishVirginIslands.com.”

The reason we use CCIN.com instead of Castello Cities Internet Network, Inc is because:
    1) Faster for advertisers to write cheques 🙂
    2) Got tired of everyone spelling it Castillo (Spanish) or Costello (Irish).

Thank you for the kind words. Glad to see you’re developing your names.

    David

and here I thought Elvis Costello was your cousin.

Guess no signed CD’s for me.

David, thank you for clarification. And it’s almost the answer why shorter name is better sometimes. I think it’s clear.

Yes, we are domain development believers and your business model is great example of success. I have the same point of view for developing geo domains.
Our domain portfolio is not so much premium as yours but we are developing some our best property and soon we’ll make some announcements. I will let you know asap.

    Best regards.

I see, but we have an opportunity to purchase SaintKittsAndNevis.com
    Real geodomain for reasonable price.
I just prefer more popular travel destinations 🙂
We own some BVI not dotcom domains.

By the way your caribbeanweather is one one of the most wanted 🙂
