The first Domainer’s Choice Awards were announced last night at the closing dinner for DomainFest.
Ammar Kubba’s company TrafficZ, won the award for best Parking Company.
Ammar is a great guy, a good friend and one of our long term parking partners for our own portfolio.
We congratulate Ammar and his team.
In maybe the night’s biggest upset, my friend Elliot Silver and his blog, ElliotsBlog, won for best blog, beating out some incredible competition in two other friends of mine, Sahar Sarid’s, Conceptualist, and Frank Schilling’s SevenMile.com
We congratulate Elliot. I had the privilege of spending a few minutes chatting with Elliot, a few hours prior to the awards, and as always, found him to be engaging, smart and hard working. Elliot definitely has a great future in this business.
Frank Schilling, who spoke the previous day at DomainFest, answering questions submitted to him prior to the show and live from the audience, showed why he is and took home the award for the industry’s best spokesperson.
I am proud to say i know Frank and have had many great discussions with him. Not only is Frank the most successful dominer in the history of this business but is a simply a great person.
We congratulate Frank. As an industry we couldn’t ask for a better representative.
Ron Jackson’s DNJournal.com got the award for the best domain publication.
Ron who has a tremendous publication, is a huge asset to the industry and his publication is a Must Read
We congratulate him for this achievement.
Ron also has the good taste to be a fellow Tampa Bay Buccaneer fan.
