The seller was Apuestas Limited.
The domain has an original registration date of 2001.
The domain name has been used as a parked page for many years
cheap. when you see casas.net and pisos.net go for $1xx K then it gets even cheaper. but then again, great domains are being sold because they are cheap, and sellers sell them cheap because they need money…

Domo Sapiens you are right, it is “Bets” Plural. And yes, José it sold cheap.
Apuestas.com sold for 165,000 EUR, not USD. I’m very sure because we participated in that auction. At least that makes a difference of 35%.
