Discover Credit Card which already owns Discover.com, quietly acquired the domain name Discoverit.com back in July of last year.

The domain name is not yet resolving but would be a great call to action type of domain and we would expect to see it used by the credit card company in a future ad campaign.

If you want to see how Discover may use the domain name check out the picture above which comes courtesy of CreditCards.net

So another example of  Domaining 6.0

Tonight is the Discover College BCS National Championship game between Alabama and Notre Dame enjoy it.

Discover has been doing Discover IT mailings, and I actually have a Discover IT card. I’m kind of surprised they haven’t utilized the domain yet, even to forward it to the Discover homepage.

Just goes to show you what a little foresight can do when you reg a “brandable”. Would love to
know how much they paid for it, congratulations to the seller!

AMEX is using My Card Can dot com, with the market extremely competitive, many companies are re-branding to promote their many cash back/point programs.

    DiscoverIt.com redirects to a folder on discover.com.

Would you create a blog post about call to action domains, so we could post sightings?

Here is one I saw in a commercial for Valero during the Honda Classic:

    PlanYourRoadTrip.com

    encouraging gas spending!

What kind of weather is that you’re having in Florida?

Good to hear, we own planyourtrip.com

Florida has been a little cold into the 50-60’s
