CQD.com owner should be following the playbook used by MLA.com

April 7, 2018 by Raymond Hackney

With all the discussion and things brought to light with the CQD.com case, I took a look back at some domain thefts that were covered by publications outside the domain industry. The Huffington Post took a rather bleak stance with the following headline, "When Hackers Steal A Web Address, Few Owners Ever Get It Back" Jonathan Askin, a technology law professor at Brooklyn Law School, was … [Read more...]

April 1, 2018 by Raymond Hackney

A couple of interesting sales on a Saturday night caught my eye. Two topics that are hotly debated, while checking Namebio it seems that Communism.com sold for $10,099 and Guns.tv sold for $10,000. I know the seller of Guns.tv, longtime Namepros member Makis.TV. Congrats to him. The name has moved to private, it was regged back during the great .tv landrush in 2010. Communism.com still … [Read more...]

Milo Yiannopoulos is moving on from Hatred.com

March 31, 2018 by Raymond Hackney

The domain Hatred.com famously sold to Milo Yiannopoulos for $150,000 last year, it seems Milo never updated the whois so it made it look like Richard Dynas was still the owner. Seems like Milo has changed course and will not be using Hatred.com but rather expressed interest in … [Read more...]
