Escrow.com vs Epik the battle continues

July 27, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

There is an epic (pardon the pun) battle that sparked up last night on Namepros between Jackson Elsegood and Rob Monster. This thread is not a new thread, it started back in January. The dispute has been about whether the escrow services provided by Epik are truly escrow services. John Berryhill has weighed in along with many Epik customers. Jackson posted a link to a story about an … [Read more...]

July 25, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

So I started a poll a few weeks ago on Namepros which closed yesterday. The question posed was the following: What's the most you'd pay for a domain in the aftermarket? The curious case of Dustie.com

April 17, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

This one is very interesting. So Dustie Meads posts on Namepros that's her first name, Dustie.com sold for $450 on GoDaddy. She said she had the name listed for $20,000 for many years, not $450. The ironic part about posting on Namepros resulted in seeing that another member Maxtra was the buyer of the name. They had it listed in their sig line and they were being called out as to what … [Read more...]

April 1, 2019 by Raymond Hackney

Joseph Peterson has left Epik, he will stay on while the company transitions. Joseph started posting a few weeks back in what has become a very heated and contentious thread on Namepros. He wrote on Namepros: During a transitional period, I’m staying on to finish tasks, ensure ongoing projects remain ongoing, and train my replacements. Thousands of Epik customers deserve continuity and … [Read more...]
