Simone Catania is leaving InterNetX (IONOS Group) After starting on the registry side, looking after .srl and .ltda for Italy and South America, he moved into the core business at InterNetX, and more recently took on a cross-brand role with the IONOS PR/Comms team, serving as the group’s domain expert, running PR for united-domains and supporting IONOS Italia.
Simone was the heart and sould behind the The Global Domain Report. I found him to be one of the deepest thinkers in the space. Committed to doing deep dives on research. I never met the man but we emailed often and I thought of him as a true asset to InterNetX and the industry.
I wish Simone well, and InterNetX has some big shoes to fill.
