Escrow.com released their Q1 2024 Domain name report and .ai once again showed strength. $2.6M in Q1 2024 and a good chance most of those sales are not reported on Namebio.
This quarter, the total domain name volume on Escrow.com continues to increase from $79M in 4Q23 to $84M in 1Q24.
Key highlights include:
- The value of ‘.ai’ domain names hits another record high at $2.6M in 1Q24
- The median price of five character .com domains increased to $9.75k in 1Q24, hitting a record high, from $8.5k in 4Q23
Total transaction value, by region
Domain name transactions transacted from the United States increased from $56M to $62M. Meanwhile domain name transactions from China increased from $5.2M to $6.4M.
