Domains and hosting-focused email startup Titan becomes the highest-rated email software on G2

July 13, 2022 by Raymond Hackney

Titan email a company founded by Radix founder Bhavin Turakhia became the highest rated email software on G2. G2 operates a software marketplace for business organizations to research, buy, and manage their software and services.

Titan, the business email suite for domain and web hosting customers, has emerged as the highest-rated email software on G2, with a rating of 4.8/5.

The new rating puts Titan ahead of legacy email products such as Microsoft Outlook and Google Workspace. G2’s recent 2022 Summer Report awarded Titan the #1 position in Customer Service for Email and top rankings in Ease of Use and Implementation. G2 is a globally recognized platform for peer-to-peer software reviews.

In the last two quarters, Titan has risen among G2’s top five products in business email. Titan has taken a new approach to business email, focusing on small businesses that represent the majority of hosting and domain customers and enabling them to build deeper relationships with their customers.

Titan has taken a radically different approach to email and calendar functionality for domain and hosting customers by adding tools and features such as mini-CRM and marketing capabilities in business email.

Along with mentions of the product’s simple but sleek aesthetics, reviews from Titan’s customers cite the company’s philosophy of taking direct input from users to co-create the product as one of the most significant factors contributing to their ratings.

“I love that more features are coming on with each passing quarter,” remarks Titan customerKatherina Tarnai-Lokhorst. “It’s been kind of fun. I feel like I’ve been a part of the process, a part of Titan!”

Co-creating the product road map with customers Titan flipped the playbook when it comes to creating a top-rated product. For a long time, hosting and domain customers have had to contend with decades-old email products with poor UX and reliability.

They have needed manual configuration and setup on desktop and mobile
apps that are typically included with hosting packages. Titan saw an opportunity to solve both the end customer’s user experience and revenue for domain and hosting companies. “We thought, what if we stop guessing and enable our customers to tell us exactly what they need?” explains Gaurang Sinha, Titan’s VP of Revenue and GTM.

Titan’s approach has been to create a public product road map that customers can directly contribute to and vote on. Titan’s product teams take on features and functionality with the most significant combination of impact and votes.

The Titan team has documented its approach in a detailed blog post.
A large part of the support Titan has received from customers comes from customers
benefiting from a fantastic email experience they get out of the box with their hosting or domain purchase, as well as features that have made it a delight to set up and use email.

Among the reviews Titan has received on G2, Titan is most commonly praised for its sleek
design, affordability, customer support, and advanced features. Below are some examples.
