The new “old” gTLD’s are odd, when you consider the creepy controlled by State / ICANN domain DNS and put it in contrast with the Blockchain .crypto domains it makes the .com Internet DNS look like the FAX machine. A game for old geezers.

.crypto = you buy them as an NFT, you pay once, you can use it as a multi crypto payment address, email, direct message and again, you don’t have to pay for such services. Rapid evolution of the Blockchain domain ecosystem I think will make the DNS world significantly look dated and like a control grid, .com sounds so web 0.1 Why pay time and time to maintain a domain when you can OWN .crypto? .crypto can’t drop, it sits in your wallet, those filthy urchins at Google or the NSA etc can’t read your messages unless you give them your encryption key. That would be as smart as publishing your crypto wallet key ๐Ÿ˜‰

    Then you have the old world after market, Sedo for example, some buyer bids and then NOTHING at the Sedo end happens if the buyer fails to complete. Look on OpenSea. With .crypto YOU yourself are in control of the process. I’ve been selling off a lot of old legacy domains for the past year, I’m more and more gravitating to .crypto. Take a look;

The old geezers changed your diapers when you were a baby.

      Be kind to them!

      LOL

.crypto doesn’t even resolve, these aren’t real domains. Show me a single site using this rubbish!

Well, there are 500,000 registered so far. Zero will drop because YOU own them.

Opera browser. And do t forget NOT pay for the rental each year ๐Ÿ˜‰

The weirdos at google and the NSA donโ€™t have your encryption keys too.

So are you going to instruct everyone visiting a site to download “Opera Browser” first?

You are not paying any registration fees because these are not real domains. Please tell me a single site that actually works.

I don’t think you quite get it.

.crypto are blockchain domains, they are not on the State strangled Google doodle do DNS. The Opera browser is first to allow the domains to be accessed from the web.

It’s a bit like this, a .com is like having a IBAN account number, the regulators, banks and intermediaries. We are now looking at something you OWN rather paying an annual rent. We are now looking at something that YOU control and have peer to peer message, payment and FULL encrypted ownership and control of your messages.

It’s like a conversation from 2011 and you trying to tell me that BTC at $0.10 is “not real money” and now sitting there and seeing it at $58,000 The game has changed, it’s not about creepy State DNS, it’s all about blockchain peer to peer and YOU own it.

Wake up! Nobody uses Opera, their market share is 2.2%. The other 97.8% of people will get an error message.

This is New.net with a layer of blockchain added to make the idea seem current, it is putting lipstick on a very old pig.

A new world has risen where the confines of the DNS a censorship State with deep state big tech chokers throttling free speech, shadow banning, abuse unsecured communications. The bad State big tech actors have discredited the old Internet.

The Blockchain and crypto are the new era IP. Imagine that you can pickup domains terms like monitisation – slotscasino etc, pay just once, own and control them and as NFT’s trade them into the market space with buys willing and able to participate.

What have you got to lose by moving early and not having to “rent” domains each year thinking you actually own them?
