Domain Name Sales Action 8-19-20

Thank you for reading today on what is post number 11,000.

The action on Wednesday produced three five figure sales/closes. Tuma.com sold for $42,000 to lead the way at Sedo. LinuxDevices.com was second at $23,499. This name expired and the previous website had been offline since 2013. Here is a story about LinuxDevices.com.

LinuxDevices Archive now hosted at LinuxGizmos

We are pleased to announce that QuinStreet generously offered to license LinuxGizmos.com to host the LinuxDevices Archive, as a “holiday present to the Linux community” in December 2013. As a result, nearly 15,000 news items and special articles and editorials originally published by LinuxDevices.com are now available for browsing in our LinuxDevices Archive. The Archive is searchable and also available from a calendar interface, so you can click on any month of any year between 1999 and 2012 and see what pops up.

Genium.com expired and closed at $13,750 at GoDaddy auctions. This was a publishing company.

RoboClean.com sold for $10,000 back in 2016 at Uniregistry. There are a few companies out there using RoboClean in their domain name. This company was from Toronto.

Conventional cleaning with a technological edge! By using robotics to do the heavy duty cleaning we can help you cut up to 70%. Source

The domain dropped and went for $1,600 at DropCatch.

Dandrew.com sold for $3,250 back in 2017 at Uniregistry. It expired and went for $235 at GoDaddy auctions.

BerryGrape.org This was another example of GoDaddy’s failure to secure payment, puts cash in DropCatch’s pocket. The domain name closed at GoDaddy on 7/2 for $2,125 it dropped and closed at DropCatch for $2,873.

RentCheap.com this is not a flip for a domain investor but a nice haul for GoDaddy if they secure payment. The domain traded for $219 back in 2012 and closed at $3,550 this time around at GoDaddy auctions.

Familj.com sold for $4,000 back in 2011 at Sedo. Google translate tells me this is the Swedish word for Family. It closed at $992 at GoDaddy auctions.

LandscapeArchitects.com has been around the block a couple times before. It sold in 2014 and 2015. $4,000 in 2015 at Uniregistry and $2,051 in 2014 at SnapNames. It closed at $2,550 at Dynadot.
