Denise Stephan published a piece on the crunchbase blog of the startups that raised the most money in 2019.

Number 1 was Flexport

Last Equity Funding: $1B Series D

Notable Investors: Softbank Vision Fund, DST Global, Founders Fund

Flexport is a licensed customs brokerage and freight forwarder built around a modern web application. Its service includes a dashboard for businesses to easily understand, purchase, manage, and track the services required for global trade.

WeWork was second and DoorDash was third.

I use DoorDash a lot, been some rocky times using them they seem to be improving lately.

8 of the 11 on the list do own their matching .com. Nuro which is 4th is actually listed over at Catchy.com. Nuro uses the .ai extension.

Aurora uses Aurora.tech as the .com is owned by Ariss and used as a redirect.

Knock uses Knockaway.com as Knock is a developed website.
