Sedo released their weekly sales and Buy.Game led the way at $29,999. This was not a registry sale, a Chinese registrant registered it in 2016. There is another sale mentioned on Namebio at $8,880
Lads.com was the top .com sale at 22,999 Euros, ($26,200). Seems cheap in my opinion.
36 .com sales
22 cctld sales
6 other tld sales
2050.org sold for 10,000 Euros, ($11,391). Nice job to the seller.

Lads.com is a ridiculously cheap sale. Think “lad’s mags”, which is a really common term in the UK. Think Maxim, Loaded, Nuts, FHM, Arena, Bizarre, Zoo, etc. etc. etc. There are shit tons.
I believe it should have been a 6 figure sale.
Agree.
Absolutely.
You all appear to behind the times and uninformed as a result.
Maxim – American
Loaded – defunct in print since 2015. Online only.
Nuts – defunct since 2014.
FHM – defunct in print since 2015. Online only.
Arena – defunct since 2009.
Bizarre – defunct since 2015.
Zoo – defunct since 2014.
The term lads is chiefly British and is not always viewed in a positive or a mainstream context. Seller had the name for sale for more than a decade. This was never going to be anywhere near six figures on the niche meaning of the term. Think acronym instead. The same buyer also acquired lads.co.uk.
Very thorough information. I stand corrected.
