actually some decent sales this week.

Very few of my domains are ever acquired by domain investors — at least in the last 10 years.
But has anyone ever done a report on domain sales and pricing in conjunction with the stock market? Crypto also has crashed. Real estate continues to rise. The stock market, of course, is plummeting, but domain sales remain solid, as does real estate and fine art which is getting record sales.

You need to pick a timeframe, the Dow Jones is 1000 points higher than it was last November, so it’s off it’s highs but certainly not plummeting. Domain sales have been nothing special this year, a lot of niches like 4L.com and even 3L.com poor to very poor.

Everything is relative I agree with you VR that timeframe matters. Look I know people holding 4L.coms and cryptocurrencies and crypto domains who have a sore rear end. It’s an individual business, you selling names it’s going great, no sales for a few months domaining sucks. I hear it from people everyday, either text, email or phone call.

I have had a guy complaining all year, made a sale over the weekend now domains are great, two weeks ago it was a dirty, shady, should be regulated business in their mind.

Of course stocks were not going to stay at an all time high, and what I said back when I was a broker many years ago, always own some puts.
