The Covfefe drop is underway

I was looking at the expiring names on Name.com and got to one scroll down where all I saw was covfefe. Another illustration of why it’s good to be a registry/registrar. People just throw money away after missing out on the .com of the latest viral blip.

Obviously donating the reg fee money to charity would have been a superior option but even throwing money out the window would have been a better use of this money.

It was almost a year ago today when Covfefe.com was auctioned on Flippa, it ended unsold and then relisted. It ended unsold 250 days later once again.

    Great illustration. If i would grab this covfefe, if i haven’t sold it in only a few days, i would gather every resource possible to develop a site. Something viral, news etc. If it didn’t sell in a few days, it never will. If only Trump will continue speaking covfefe, but we don’t have any guarantee on that lol.

    it always amazes me how many so called domainers seem to know everything with the benefit of hindsight.

    perhaps they should have registered godaddy.com and sold it to godaddy for like a trillion. ore even amazon.com.
    shit happens and no one ever hit a home run after the game ended.

      No hindsight here I said it was stupid June 1 of last year after they all got regged. Regging a name in a new gtld that has no sales history was beyond stupid. None of the good keywords sold but someone was going to buy Covfefe.place?
