I am sure someone has contacted the bank and put them on notice about the expired domain.
The bank wont really care about this ,these guys control billions ,to them it may as well be worth 25 cents also before big corps do anything ,even recover a domain they will have to go through legal, so all in all this may be a liability for them ,and the domain will just expire ,if in the end they wish to have it back they may spend a half million just to sue the person who bought it ,till they have to give it up or spend a couple hundred grand trying to keep it,so in the end godaddy may have to refund the money for the sale if it ever gets to that point. All this being said even though there are a ton of end users for this domain ,they may have to pay big to keep it,which may prevent the auction going to six figures.
godaddy doesn’t allow renewals past 30 days anymore so very unlikely it will be renewed/transferred.
