I definitely took the wrong career path, when engineers are dropping $48K on obscure domain names.
I think it’s another Zebin Huang, I updated post. This person looks to be a Chinese domainer with over 2000 domains.
shenhua can mean legend in Chinese pinyin, 51,400,000 search results on baidu. it’s a popular drama serial in china and a number of Chinese companies has shenhua within their company names, most notably shenhuachina.com (a conglomerate in china). it’s not as obscure as u think.

No kidding I was well aware it’s a Chinese word, the registrant name showed up was also Chinese but not the Chinese registrant at Qualcomm.
Shenhua Group is one of the largest companies in the world, I actually thought they would buy the name. Seems like they use CSEC.com for their one division.
ShenHua.com is 2-pin, which is the most popular Pinyin type in China imo. It has many meanings, such as 神华 (divine China), 深化 (to deepen), 神化(to make divine), 神话 (fairy tale). Very valuable and brandable.
