Slack.com was purchased for $60,000

Communications app Slack paid $60,000 for the domain slack. The price was revealed by the founder himself on Quora a few years back.

Slack which is an acronym for “Searchable Log of All Conversation and Knowledge“.

Slack.co was purchased for $680 on GoDaddy in 2015. Not owned by the company.

    60k was about right at a time where there was no “take up”, I would have sold at that. Never listen to a broker who just wants the quick commission without the homework
