A couple interesting sales around a couple hotly debated topics

April 1, 2018 by Raymond Hackney

A couple of interesting sales on a Saturday night caught my eye. Two topics that are hotly debated, while checking Namebio it seems that Communism.com sold for $10,099 and Guns.tv sold for $10,000.

I know the seller of Guns.tv, longtime Namepros member Makis.TV. Congrats to him. The name has moved to private, it was regged back during the great .tv landrush in 2010.

Communism.com still points to the website it always pointed to, it was owned by Weapons of Transparency and now the name has gone under privacy. The domain has been registered since 1996. I would have thought communism.com would have gone for a higher price to be honest. Congrats to the seller.

Feel free to post a comment about the sales, your political beliefs or stances on either subject take to a political forum or social media. Thank you

I don’t, I think Makis pissed that two other bidders could not bid due to Sedo’s policy.

Sedo’s certification policy for bidding more than 10,000 ruined a higher sale. I know that at least 2 bidders were end users and my experience tells me that they would be bid more if they fully understand how this bidding procedure works.
