There is a post on Namepros in the warnings and alerts section with regard to IrmaHurricane.com. Quickly members identified the owner, where they lived and where they worked.
The owner joined Namepros and requested that people take his info down. According to the post there was once a Paypal link for donations (I did not see the site at that time) now it’s just a landing page that says contact us.
This is the problem with registering names like this, you could be doing good work and trying to help, I know nothing about this registrant and if they are trying to do good, it’s my belief you should be linking to the Red Cross. It’s an organization that is known worldwide and millions of people donate to them. There has been too much fraud in the past that anyone is every going to just trust a website no one knows and make donations. So if you are looking to do good, put the time in and do things the right way, otherwise you are wasting your time and you might even get labeled a fraudster.
To everyone in Florida be safe.

I would necessarily promote the Red Cross given their questionable record in massive natural disasters though I realize it may be the first organization people think of:

It is critical to understand how much money that is donated actually goes directly toward helping victims and does not get sucked up by “admin expenses” or other nonsense.

Yeah…I remember getting the USGS alert when the Haiti earthquake hit. Almost reflexively I went to name.com, typed in haitiearthquake.com (it was available) and couldn’t bring myself to pull the trigger — it felt too disgusting, so I let it go. Even trying to profit off events that are causing so much heartbreak to so many people is the epitome of “bad karma”, IMO.
Prayers to those in harms way in Florida, and to those who were affected in Houston and surrounding areas.

Yeah several members of that domain forum are Roasting alive the owner of IrmaHurricane.com Hahahahahaha!! The owner is trying to deny the obvious fraud he tried to commit, but its too late, he was Busted!! And its pay time now!! Karma its a B**ch!! He wasted his money registering that domain and even pay money to host the fraudulent “charity” website!! And he also wasted money by upgrading his Newbie namepros member account to “Business member” in order to give a more “professional” image as a “honest” charity person!! lol
No mercy to Scammers, Fraudsters, Spammers like the owner of IrmaHurricane.com He panic when he got discovered, and even take the fraudulent website down. If he was doing the right thing, then why the hell he panic, take the website down and try to clean his damaged image on that domain forum. Clearly he is a Fraud!
Its funny how people are Roasting alive that mega scammer from India! ahahahahahahahahaha!!! 😀

I feel better donating to a scammer than the Red Cross which is a MUCH MUCH bigger scam. The CEO makes about a Million a year along with all the other expenses, very little percentage is given to help the actual cause. They spend more money marketing to get donations than they do actually giving to the cause.
People think they are doing good, but there doing the exact opposite. If you really want to help, you should give money to people directly or thru GoFundMe campaigns like Eric Lyon has.
The Red Cross is a very corrupt organization – do your research! When people lose, everything, they act like a savior by stealing the money that should go directly towards helping the cause rather than filling the pockets of the fat cat CEO. They could CARE LESS, they USE natural disasters for their own gain!

Yep…much better option is local shelters & food banks
