CentralNic (LSE: CNIC) announced today that it has named Stuart Fuller as Group Commercial Director heading up worldwide sales activities.
“Mr. Fuller joins the company after eleven years at domain name retailing, corporate domain name management and brand protection firm NetNames (formerly Group NBT) where he was responsible for commercial operations for the group. His earlier career was in the telco industry, with Cable and Wireless and other leading companies.
Mr. Fuller will bring with him significant experience at both the policy and operational level. As CentralNic looks to continue its impressive growth, Mr. Fuller’s record of commercial success in retail, wholesale and corporate registrars is an excellent fit.
Fuller joins fellow former Group NBT executive Andy Churley, who joined CentralNic in late 2016 to head up their marketing operations.”
My brother Bobby was the Sr. Network Engineer (CCIE) for Cable & Wireless from 1995-2001. All of Cable and Wireless’s decommissioned CISCO Catalyst 6500 Series Switches forming their original internet backbone ended up as coffee tables in my DC apartment in 2008. The equipment seemed too legendary to throw away but by 2012, I put that vanload of hardware in a dumpster at the 2000 block of Columbia Pike in Arlington,Va a couple blocks from the Pentagon.
