TECH domains entered General Availability on 5th August 2015 with a vision to be the moniker for everything related to technology online. It was targeted towards serving the branding needs of startups, tech influencers, tech reviewers, developers alike.

Since then, .TECH  has come a long way with not only over 160K domains in its zone file but has also been a hot favorite amongst leading tech brands such as the Consumer Electronics Show which is using CES.TECH for CES 2017, YouTube channels such as Techsource , Austin Evans and various startups such as (blue.tech, impact.tech etc.) using the extension for their online presence.

As .TECH is about to turn 1, the folks at Radix are running a contest giving out a $250 Amazon Shopping Voucher to the person who can guess what the total number of .TECH registrations by 15:59 UTC would be, on the 5th of August 2016 (exactly 1 year from its launch).

This contest will run solely on Twitter, so you are to tweet your guess @thedomains Twitter handle, and include the #TechTurns1 after your guess.

Only one guess per Twitter handle.

According to https://ntldstats.com/tld/tech there are 166,815 .tech domains. Radix will provide the exact number on August 5, 2016, ntldstats.com will not be the official number used to determine the winner of the contest.
