Where will the bidding close for 27.com ?

April 30, 2016 by Raymond Hackney

In one week one of the best names we have seen at auction this year will close at  NameJet. 27.com, which surpisingly was registered rather late, 1998 according to Domain Tools.

37.com sold for $2.1 million, the buyer was 37Games out of China. You can read the interview James Iles from Namepros did with the buyer here.

So leave your guess on the final price in the comments. The winner will win $50, paid by Paypal only.

It is your responsibility to make sure no one else previously placed the same closing price. There will be only one winner.

The name does not have to sell for you to win. Closing price is all that matters.

The thread will be closed Thursday at 8 p.m. Eastern.

You are only picking the closing price, it does not have to sell for you to win. The closing price of the auction is all that matters to win the $50.

Best chance of winning is to wait until the last moment. Then look at the total number of backorders and top bid. Plus look at all previous guesses, picking a number that gives a wide price range before bumping into other guesses on either side.

Not gonna do that myself. Just saying.

Very slick, you are right, that’s why I did say the post will be closed on Thursday so people don’t get last, last minute info to help influence their decision. We will propmote the post up until Thursday on social media.
