.Club Publishes August Domain Results, Over $1 Million Cumulative Sales

The .club registry has published its registry reserved premium name & SnapNames sales report for the month of August 2015 and it has now passed the $1 Million dollar mark in cumulative registry reserved premium domain name sales!

The release states:

As of August 31, 2015, total cumulative sales of registry reserved premium .CLUB names came to $1,099,780.20.  The highest single sale remains Wine.club at $140,000.00.  We introduced our tiered premium names to the registrar channel on July 1, 2015 and the initial results have been very positive. Our premium names are also available via the Sedo Marketplace and Right of the Dot. As of August 31, 2015, total cumulative sales of registry reserved premium .CLUB names came to $1,099,780.20.  The highest single sale remains Wine.club at $140,000.00.  We introduced our tiered premium names to the registrar channel on July 1, 2015 and the initial results have been very positive. Right Of The Dot’s sale of Wine.club took place at NamesCon 2014.

Some more highlights from the .club release:

  • 24 domain name registrars are participating in the tiered premium names program.
  • The retail prices paid ranged from $100.00 to $7,094.68.  The average price paid was $3,429.90, an increase of $873.25 over last month’s average.  Total premium name sales for the month was $51,448.60.
  • On August 13, 2015 SnapNames began offering dropping .CLUB names. The highest sale was 345.club $801
  • The highest registry reserved .CLUB names sold was a tie between Betting.club and Sea.club at $6,999.99 each.

To note, Michael Berkens kicked off 2015 with the sale of 345.com for $800,000.
