You Can Buy .Love, But It’s Going To Cost You Up To $15K Per Year, Per Domain

July 14, 2015 by Michael Berkens

.Love which launches Thursday,  is the first offering of Merchant Law Group which applied for 8 new gTLD’s.

Despite a report yesterday, the best domain names for the new gTLD .Love have huge premium registrations/renewal prices,  actually the highest we have seen other than some Rightside new gTLD domain names up to $15,000 a year.

There are other top .Love domain names that are reserved and not available.

One and two character domains are also not available at this time.

The normal registration fee at 101domain.com for a non-premium .Love domain is $28.99.

.Love is in day 6 and 7 days of The Early Access Program(EAP) where there are additional fees for early access for registrations (EAP fees are NOT included below)

At the moment there seems to be around 160 domain names in the zone file with the vast majority being Sunrise registrations.

Here are some premiums registrations and renewals we found at 101domain.com:

Good luck to them I would think twice about the $28 never mind a four or five figure yearly lease. You’d have to be serious about building out a site to justify that.

    The.love 15k……..mindboggling
