Earlier today we published a post that had the 1st day stats for 4 new gTLD’s that went into their first day of general availability yesterday relying on ntldstats.com as we always do.
We have been informed by Donuts the registry for all 4 new gTLD’s that the ntldstats.com number were not current nor correct.
The corrected registration numbers including domain name registered by trademark holders in Sunrise and those that paid an extra fee to register a domain in the Early Access Program after the first day of general availability as reported by Donuts, registry for the 4 new gTLD’s are as follows:

We apologize to our readers and to Donuts for publishing the earlier numbers.
For the record we have relied on ntldstats.com for our 1st day registration stories for almost a year and this is the first time they were inaccurate.
Said as much before and will say it again – .money is priced too high for popularity and traction. If they do what .club has done in making it affordable, I believe this one could take off in terms of widespread adoption, popularity and use.
