    The reserve price was $XY0,000.00, where X*2>10.

    The seller is quite approachable on selling names in the smaller lots.

      So, the reserve price was > $6Y0,000 (greater than 6 hundred and ‘Y’ thousand dollars)?

    We’ll be working with the owner of this portfolio, as well as the seller (who was acting as broker), in either a relist strategy or potentially selling these one by one at Flippa. Thanks for the coverage…

      Meanwhile, there are 24 superhot .me names with no reserve: https://flippa.com/3084427

      HA! That brought me right back to the days of Saturday morning cartoons!!

      For those unfamiliar with the Schoolhouse Rock series:

        …skip to 2:18 of the video to see the ‘LY’ attachment machine in full operation! 🙂

        ~~~ “If it’s an adverb, we have it at Lolly’s. Bring along your old adjectives too; like ‘slow’, ‘soft’ and ‘sure’. We’ll fit ’em out with our ‘LY’ attachment and make perfectly good adverbs outta them!” ~~~
    Hemingway never liked adverbs. Verbs are the stars (Meet.me at that bar in Montparnasse )
    But some nice .ly names. Too bad legal.ly is not among them.
      @Steven: Mark has nothing against selling it. Just call him. He is a nice chap.
    100K would be a very nice sum for that lot. the seller can try sell them to the highest bidder thru Flippa
      The seller sold local . ly along for $100k few years ago 😉
      He knows the .ly market better than anyone else.
        A few years back the whole scene was different, even crappy llll.com were selling for $2xx each.
        I think 100k is probably a fair price for those domains today.
        Or he can just keep them all and do another 100k sale somewhere down the line.
    without .com counterparts the portfolio is worth not much at all to the buyers as an investment.
