Donuts Wins Private Auction For New gTLD .Pizza; Minds + Machines Wins .Fashion

June 3, 2014 by Michael Berkens

Minds + Machines, (AIM:MMX) has won the private auction for the new gTLD .Fashion

The three losing applicants in the private auction held last week for .Fashion were Uniregistry, Donuts and Famous Four Media.

The losing bidders for the new gTLD .Pizza were, Asiamix Digital Limited,Minds + Machines, and Uniregistry.

Uniregistry previously announced they won the private auctions for the new gTLD extensions of .Help and .Diet from last weeks private auction.

Famous Four previously announced the won the private auctions for the new gTLD extensions .Racing and .Cricket last week.

No financial details have been released and the only hint we will get is on the new gTLD strings Minds + Machines were involved in but that statement has not been released by the public company.

Of course those losing the auction will get the funds paid by the winner, which I would estimate would  be a big pay in the case of .Pizza for sure.

I like both of these stings quiet a lot.

You can imagine that every big market .Pizza domain will carry a premium registration and renewal price.

NewYork.Pizza or Chicago.Pizza anyone.

Get the credit card ready.

Congrats to all.

Or, as people have been doing for some time now, simply go to YELP, enter your zip code, type “pizza” and find out what’s in your neighborhood and even get reviews for the restaurants. This fragmenting of information that has already been readily available in one place for years on the Internet, makes absolutely no sense to me.
