Reports Say Apple & Google Maybe Entering 3d Printer Business

May 20, 2014 by Michael Berkens

Google Inc. (NASDAQ:GOOG), and possibly Apple (APPL), maybe both are planning to launch an all in one 3D printer according to Trip Chowdry of Global Equities Research

Chowdry wrote recently that “Google is secretly working on building the next generation of 3-D printers called Google Project Tango.”

There is similar speculation that Apple is doing the same thing utilizing its PrimeSense technology.

Google previously announced they are working with 3D Systems to develop new high-speed continuous 3D printer capable of mass-producing modules for their future modular smart devices.
