Namecheap Debuts “State-of-the-Art Domain Search Functionality”

May 1, 2014 by Michael Berkens

Namecheap, announced today the launch of our new, more efficient, more responsive search functionality.

The new “tailored” search capabilities is described in a Press Release from the comapny t as being “leading-edge technology.”

“Designed to streamline the process of finding, tracking and purchasing internet domain names; Namecheap’s updated domain search is clean, user-friendly and intuitive.

With the new search, users can customize their display with simple drag-and-drop options and flag specific domain extensions as “Favorites”.

“Favorites” settings are saved for future search sessions removing the hassle of scrolling through domain extensions you may not be interested in and only returning results for those you are.

The domain extensions are now also neatly organized under three new categories: “New” for newly released domains, “Popular” for the well known extensions and best sellers and “International” for country-specific domains.

Customers who wish to perform bulk searches will enjoy improved functionality as well.

“At Namecheap we are constantly looking at ways to give our customers the absolutely best experience possible and save them time.

Our new search does exactly that by giving our customers complete control over the results they want from their domain search and best of all, it’s as easy as pie pie for folks to set up.” said Richard Kirkendall, Namecheap CEO.”

I took a quick tour of the NameCheap and the site does remember which domain extensions you select from the menu which seems to include all new gTLD’s that have launched.

“The site allows you to simply drag and drop to re-order the tabs and set their priority. We’ll remember your choices for your next visit.”
