Come Join Me At The Digital Marketing & gTLD Strategy Congress In London On Thursday

September 24, 2013 by Michael Berkens

Tonight I’m jumping the pond and heading over to London for the Digital Marketing & gTLD Strategy Congress which is being held in at the Park Plaza Victoria in London on Thursday and Friday.

“Back by popular demand and building off of the success of the inaugural Digital Marketing & gTLD Strategy Congress that was held in New York in March, Momentum is pleased to offer you the Digital Marketing & gTLD Strategy Congress–UK & European Edition in London.

“Regardless of whether your organisation has applied for a TLD (top level domain) or not, executives responsible for brands, digital marketing and connecting with customers must understand and plan for this imminent change as a part of your global digital marketing strategy. From application to operation, owning and operating a TLD is an enormous financial, legal and strategic undertaking that is sure to have widespread implications for organisations, brands, customers and those managing back-end technology.”

A lot of the domain name heavyweights will be in attendance and presenting including Franks Schilling from Uniregistry, Hal Bailey of Google; Juan Calle of the .CO registry, Roland LaPlante, Chief Marketing Officer of Afilias, Desiree Miloshevic, Board Chair of the .ME Registry; Rich Merdingery and  Christine Cross of Godaddy.com; and Kevin Murphy Editor of  DomainIncite.com just to name a few.

I already learned something before I left for the show, that Mr. Schilling has a middle name and it starts with the letter “T”

Anyway if you are around or can get to London I would highly recommend checking out the show.

You can still register for the conference by clicking here.

I will reporting from the conference but have a lot of flying time ahead and will be back in South Florida on Saturday afternoon.

Have a safe, fun trip, Mike. Sounds like a gathering of industry giants.

About “T”, it’s in the Wikipedia entry. 😉

Life must be grand when you can take the personal jet. Enjoy the trip and be sure to take a jumper (sweater, not leaper)!
