Catching Up With NameJet.com: FountainPens.com A Dropped Domain Sells For $10K

June 28, 2013 by Michael Berkens

The domain name fountainpens.com sold on NameJet.com yesterday highlighting our catching up with NameJet.com sales.

Fountainpens.com was a dropped domain that wound up at Namejet.com since it was registered with NetworkSolutions.com

The second highest sale on our NameJet.com board this week was egv.com which sold for $8,000 which was owned by Register.com which seem to take the domain over once it was expired by its previous owner.

The third highest sale on our board was also a drop domain Lete.com at $7,040

To be clear these are sales based only on auctions we followed and are NOT all inclusive of all NameJet.com auctions.

We also excluded any auctions which did not reach reserve.

    RE: FountainPens.com sells for $10,000

I’ve been waiting for a site that sells fountain pens for years. Oh wait, Amazon already does.

In any event, this could be somewhat positive news for the now-defunct InkWell Software company, and their inkwell.com domain name. Even though Amazon also sells inkwells, someone should invest 5 figures in the name, and just go for it.
