Feds Seize 10 More Domain Names

June 10, 2013 by Michael Berkens

Homeland Security seized 10 domain names today, however did not make any announcement yet about if it was part of an investigation.

Many of the domain seemed to be registered back in June of last year and are coming up for renewal, and its uncertain whether the domains would have just dropped in a  few days.

By tomorrow all of these domains should have the familiar this domain has been seized sticker on the sites.

Today all of the domains do not resolve.

None of these domains seem related to the last seizure by the Feds of domains surrounding Liberty Financial.

Here are the domains seized today:

ghsscsa.net
khhahaxd.net
lksoftvc.net
mediaxsds.net
msdmvdata.net
pcclubddk.net
rapidstream.biz
regicsgf.net
sportreadok.net
tfxdccssl.net

I wonder what they were being used for. . .
Or if they ever made it into the “wayback”

Only an idiot would operate a business with such an elaborate corporate structure but then host their domains at GoDaddy in the US. I guess they never noticed what happened to all those gambling related domains that were seized by the state of Kentucky. That’s proof that even some of the savviest business people still don’t understand how domains work.

Looking at a quick google search it seems each of those domain had malware on them.
